About Aquarium snorkeling

Aquarium is about 5 km off the southwest coast of Havelock. It earns the name: dense coral gardens, anemones with clownfish in almost every one, and a calm, sheltered reef that starts shallow enough to snorkel over.

You snorkel straight off the boat at the mooring for 30 to 40 minutes. On the guided rate your guide stays in the water with you and carries a GoPro the whole time; you get 20 photos and 2 videos sent to your phone before you leave.

What you'll see from the surface

Coral gardens. Dense hard and soft coral cover over the whole reef top.
Anemones with clownfish. More anemones per square metre than any other site we snorkel, each with its clownfish.
Reef fish schools. Fusiliers, snappers and surgeonfish over the coral.
Moray eels. Heads out of the coral on the reef edge, visible from above on clear days.

Yes. Book the guided rate: we give you a life vest that holds you at the surface with no effort, and your guide is in the water beside you for the whole session.

Guided (₹6,000) means your guide is in the water with you the whole time, which is what non-swimmers and first-timers need. The swimmer rate (₹5,500) is for people confident in open water; your guide stays on the boat and you snorkel with the group. Both include the same gear, boat and GoPro photos.

The speedboat to Aquarium and back; mask, snorkel and fins; a life jacket if you need one; your guide; and 20 GoPro photos plus 2 videos sent to your phone.

Snorkeling keeps you at the surface floating over the reef. Scuba puts you underwater with tanks and a regulator. If you want to go below the surface at Aquarium, see our Aquarium Scuba option.

Ages 8 and above at boat sites. Kids under 12 need a parent or guardian in the water with them. We fit child-sized masks and fins at the jetty.

Yes. The ₹6,000 is inclusive of GST, so the amount you see is the amount you pay. Your invoice shows the breakdown.

Cancel 72 hours or more before your slot and you get a full refund, minus a 5% payment gateway fee and GST. Inside 72 hours, or if you do not show up, there is no refund. Weather cancellations on our side are refunded in full.
