Important Medical Considerations

Scuba diving requires certain physical fitness. Please review these requirements before booking:

Age 12-49, reasonably fit, no major medical conditions

50+ Years
Requires physician-signed "Fit to Dive" certificate

Disqualifying Conditions
Uncontrolled asthma, epilepsy, recent heart surgery

Flying After Diving
Wait minimum 18-24 hours after your last dive

What certifications do you accept at Frogman?

We welcome all certified divers from WRSTC-recognized agencies including PADI, SSI, RAID, CMAS, NAUI, and BSAC. Please bring your certification card (physical or digital) and logbook. If you don’t have a logbook, we may require an orientation dive.

What are Frogman’s fun dive package prices?

Our fun dives are priced by dive site tier:

Standard Sites (Wall, Tribe Gate, Red Pillar, Nemo, Slope, Lighthouse, Juvi’s):

• 1 Dive: ₹3,000 + GST

• 2 Dives: ₹5,500 + GST

Premium Sites (Johnny’s, Dixon’s, Jackson’s, Thecker, Minerva’s, Pilot Reef, Turtle Beach, Aquarium):

Do I need a refresher if I haven’t dived recently?

If you haven’t dived in 6+ months or have fewer than 30 logged dives, we recommend our Scuba Refresher Course. It’s a 2–3 hour session covering essential skills like mask clearing, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures. This ensures you’re confident and safe underwater.

What’s the maximum depth I can dive with Frogman?

Depth limits follow your certification level:

• Open Water Diver: 18 meters

• Advanced Open Water: 30 meters

• Deep Specialty: 40 meters

All dives are no-decompression dives as per Andaman regulations. Our divemasters ensure you dive within your certified limits.

What marine life will I see at Havelock dive sites?

Havelock’s dive sites are famous for incredible biodiversity. You can expect to see sea turtles, reef sharks, manta rays (seasonal), giant trevally, barracuda schools, moray eels, octopuses, and thousands of colorful reef fish. Sites like Jackson’s Bar and Johnny’s Gorge are known for larger pelagic life.

How long before flying should I stop diving?

You must wait a minimum of 18–24 hours after your last dive before flying. This allows residual nitrogen to safely leave your body. Plan your diving schedule accordingly – we recommend keeping your last dive day at least one full day before your departure flight.

Can I bring my own dive equipment?

Absolutely! Many certified divers prefer their own mask, fins, wetsuit, and BCD. We provide tanks, regulators (with alternate air source), weight belts, and dive computers. If you’re traveling light, our premium Scubapro and Aqualung rental gear is included in all packages.

When is the best time to dive in Havelock?

• Peak Season (December–February): Excellent 20–30 m visibility, calm seas, and comfortable weather. Book 2+ weeks in advance.

• Shoulder Season (October–November, March–May): Great conditions, fewer crowds, and 15–25 m visibility.

• Monsoon (June–September): Reduced visibility (5–10 m) and stronger currents, but budget-friendly rates and unique marine encounters.

How many dives can I do in one day?

Most certified divers do 2 dives per day with a 45–60 minute surface interval between dives. With Nitrox (available for trained divers), 3 dives are possible. We maintain safe surface intervals calculated based on depth and bottom time.

How do I book and get my photos?

You can book directly via WhatsApp or our website to get the transparent scuba diving cost in Havelock. Photos & Videos: We transfer your HD footage directly to your phone immediately after the dive – no waiting, no extra cost!

Is night diving available?

Night diving at Frogman is offered exclusively as part of our Advanced Open Water course. Lighthouse — one of Havelock’s safest and most consistent dive sites — is used for the RAID Advanced Night Dive training dive. If you’re interested in experiencing the reef after dark, enrolling in the Advanced Open Water course is the way to do it.
