If you're already on Havelock, you've sorted the hardest part. The good day-trip islands sit in Ritchie's Archipelago, just east of Havelock - Inglis, Henry Lawrence, John Lawrence, Wilson, Outram, Peel and Nicholson - and no public ferry stops at any of them. So you charter. We run ours out of Govind Nagar Jetty (Beach No. 3) - a 4 to 5 hour trip, your group only.
Every trip is a private boat. Your group has it to itself - decides the route, sets the pace. We're a dive centre running our own vessel, not a travel agency reselling someone else's, so the price is roughly half the going rate for island hopping in Havelock.

The fare covers everything on the boat. Special-area permits and 18% GST are billed separately at the dock.

Ritchie's Archipelago is the uninhabited cluster just east of Havelock - seven islands you can comfortably hop to in our 4-5 hour day. None of them are on a public ferry route, which is why you need a private boat. Want a longer custom day? Talk to us.

No. Coast Guard life jacket and in-water guide for everyone. Snorkel stops are 1-4 m deep, so non-swimmers can stay safe and still see clownfish, parrotfish and live coral.
Makruzz is a 300-seat public ferry on a fixed route between Port Blair, Havelock and Neil. Island hopping from Havelock is a private boat that stops at uninhabited islands of Ritchie's Archipelago - Inglis, Henry Lawrence, John Lawrence and others no ferry visits - with snorkelling and beach time built in.
Captain or Coast Guard call it off if the sea isn't safe. We reschedule or refund 100%. Forecast is checked the night before; you'll know by 7pm.
Small special-area fee on the morning - ₹500 per Indian, ₹2,500 per foreigner - for Henry Lawrence Island and other notified protected sites within Ritchie's Archipelago. Indian nationals just need a government photo ID; foreigners need their passport and the Restricted Area Permit issued on arrival in Port Blair.
No. 18% GST is added on top of the ₹7,000 per-person price and the ₹40,000 private charter rate. Permits are separate from the listed price.
October to mid-May. Sea is calm, visibility 20-30 m at most Ritchie's Archipelago reefs. December and January book up first. March and April are arguably better - warmer water, fewer people. No trips during the monsoon.
