The Andaman and Nicobar Islands hold hundreds of islands. The public ferry stops at four of them. Everything else - the uninhabited cluster of Ritchie's Archipelago just east of Havelock: Inglis, Henry Lawrence, John Lawrence, Wilson, Outram, Peel and Nicholson - sits on islands no ferry visits. So you charter a boat. We've been running ours out of Havelock for over a decade.
Trips leave from Govind Nagar Jetty at Havelock Beach No. 3 - a 4 to 5 hour run, your group only. Skip a stop, swap an island, sit on a beach for an extra hour - the captain works around what you want.
Pricing. ₹7,000 + 18% GST per person for the 4-5 hour trip. Private charter (whole boat) ₹40,000 + GST, your group only, up to 8 people. Refreshments included onboard - no hot lunch on this trip.

Most island hopping in Andaman and Nicobar is sold as a day-trip charter from Havelock or Port Blair. The Nicobar group itself is restricted, not open to tourists. Our Andaman island hopping covers Ritchie's Archipelago from Havelock - the accessible uninhabited cluster east of Havelock.

No. Coast Guard life jacket and in-water guide for everyone. Snorkel stops are 1-4 m deep, so you keep your head above water and still see clownfish, parrotfish and live coral.

Captain or Coast Guard call it off if the sea state isn't safe. We reschedule or refund 100%. Forecast is checked the night before; you'll know by 7pm.
Small special-area fee on the morning - ₹500 per Indian, ₹2,500 per foreigner - for Henry Lawrence Island and other notified protected sites within Ritchie's Archipelago. Indian nationals just need a government photo ID; foreigners need their passport and the Restricted Area Permit issued on arrival in Port Blair.
No. 18% GST is added on top of the ₹7,000 per-person price and the ₹40,000 private charter rate. Permits are separate from the listed price.
October to mid-May. Sea is calm, visibility 20-30 m at most Ritchie's Archipelago reefs. December and January book up first. March and April are arguably better - empty beaches, warmer water, fewer boats. We don't run open-water trips in the monsoon (June-September).
