This Privacy Policy explains how Frogman Scuba Diving Centre ("Frogman", "we", "us") collects and handles your personal data when you visit frogman.in, contact us, or book a dive or activity with us. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and the DPDP Rules, 2025. Under that law we are the Data Fiduciary and you are the Data Principal.

1. Who We Are

Frogman Scuba Diving Centre is a PADI dive centre based in Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), Andaman & Nicobar Islands, India. For any question about your data or this policy, write to us at info@frogman.in. Our data protection contact details are in Section 11 below.

2. Information We Collect

To provide safe and professional diving services, we may collect the following information:

• Personal Identity: Name, age, gender, and contact details (email, phone number, WhatsApp number).
• Medical Information: Health questionnaire answers relevant to diving safety (download medical form), for example a history of asthma or heart conditions.
• Certification Details: Proof of prior dive training (PADI, RAID, SSI, etc.) where it applies.
• Booking & Payment: The activity you book, travel dates, and payment confirmation. Card and bank details are handled by our payment gateway (Razorpay); we do not store your full card details.
• Technical Data: IP address, device and browser type, and how you use our website. This is collected through cookies only after you give consent (see Section 4).
• Media: Photos and videos taken during your dive or activity.

3. Why We Use Your Information

We use your personal data for these purposes:

• To process your bookings and reservations.
• To contact you about schedule changes, weather updates, and booking confirmations.
• To process your certification with diving agencies (for example PADI or RAID).
• For internal record keeping and to meet legal and safety obligations.
• With your consent, to understand how our website is used and to measure our advertising, so we can improve both.

We process your data based on your consent, on the need to fulfil a booking you have asked for, and to meet our legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (see Section 8).

4. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising

We use two kinds of cookies and similar technologies:

• Essential cookies: Needed for the website and booking process to work. These are always on.
• Analytics & advertising cookies: Used by Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel) to measure traffic and ad performance. These stay switched off until you accept them.

When you first visit, a banner asks for your choice. You can Accept all or Reject non-essential, and both choices are equally easy. Nothing is pre-ticked. You can change or withdraw your choice any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in our website footer. We use Google Consent Mode v2, so advertising and analytics tags only run when you allow them.

5. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your data to third-party marketing agencies. We share data only where needed, with:

• Diving agencies (PADI, RAID, SSI and similar) to issue your certification.
• Payment gateway (Razorpay) to process your payment securely.
• Technology providers who help us run the website and measure traffic and ads (Google and Meta), and only when you have given consent for analytics and advertising cookies.
• Authorities where the law requires it.

Medical forms are kept confidential and shared only with the dive professionals directly supervising you.

6. How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Booking and certification records are kept for the period our diving agencies and tax laws require. Medical questionnaires are retained for the legally required safety period and then securely deleted. If you withdraw consent and we have no other legal reason to keep your data, we will delete it.

7. Your Rights as a Data Principal

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you have the right to:

• Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
• Correct, complete or update your personal data.
• Erase your personal data where it is no longer needed.
• Withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
• Grievance redressal from us on any data matter (see Section 11).
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.

8. How to Exercise Your Rights or Withdraw Consent

To use any of the rights above, email us at info@frogman.in with your request. To withdraw consent for analytics and advertising cookies, click the "Cookie Settings" link in our website footer and choose Reject non-essential. We will act on your request within the time the law allows. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already took place while consent was valid.

9. Children's Data

Diving has minimum age requirements. Where a participant is under 18, we collect and process their data only with verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly track children or show them targeted advertising, and we do not process a child's data in any way likely to harm their wellbeing.

10. Data Security

We apply reasonable security safeguards so your personal data is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed without authorisation. If a personal data breach occurs, we will follow the notification steps required under the DPDP Rules, 2025.

11. Grievance & Data Protection Contact

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to register a complaint with the Data Protection Board of India set up under the DPDP Act, 2023.

12. Photos & Videos

We often take photos and videos of our guests during dives and activities. We may use these for promotional purposes on our website and social media unless you ask us not to. To opt out, email info@frogman.in and we will stop using and remove your images.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Please check this page from time to time.
