Walk in from the beach and explore Havelock's most accessible reef. Perfect for beginners and non-swimmers — no boat ride needed.
Unlike boat dives which can be intimidating for beginners, our Standard Shore Dive removes the stress of deep water and rough waves. You start standing on soft sand in waist-deep water, allowing you to master breathing techniques at your own pace.
Guided by our Certified instructors (strictly 1-on-1 ratio), you will slowly transition from standing to swimming. Before you know it, you’ll be gliding alongside Clownfish (yes, Nemo), navigating through coral arches, and watching schools of Snapper – all at a comfortable depth of 6 to 8 meters. Most of our first-timers come out of the water asking when they can dive again.
Wondering whether to pick a shore dive or boat dive? Both are great for beginners – the shore dive at Nemo Reef is calmer, shallower, and ideal if you’re nervous about deep water or seasickness. The boat dive reaches deeper reefs with more diverse marine life. Compare with our boat dive package →

Nemo Reef is a shallow, sheltered bay with clear water and plenty of marine life close to shore. Because it is protected from strong currents, marine life gathers here in huge numbers.
Arrival & Gear Up (15 Mins): Arrive at the Frogman center. Meet your instructor, fill out a medical safety form, and get fitted for a sanitized wetsuit and fins.
Briefing & Transfer (15 Mins): A short ride to Nemo Beach. Your instructor explains basic hand signals (Okay, Not Okay, Go Up/Down) and how to equalize ear pressure.
Shallow Water Training (15 Mins): We walk into the ocean. In waist-deep water (where you can stand), we practice breathing through the regulator and clearing your mask. We don’t move until you give the thumbs up!
The Dive (30-40 Mins): Once comfortable, we descend! Your instructor holds your tank/hand the entire time. You just breathe and enjoy the view.
Celebration: Return to the surface, de-gear, and review your awesome underwater photos on the spot.
